Technology Venture
Helping people access support when it matters most.
Our Belief
We believe no one should have to face life's critical moments without the confidence that help can be reached.
Executive Summary
A concise introduction to Soularm, the challenge we seek to address, and the future we are working to create.
Soularm is a safety technology company founded on a simple belief: no one should have to face life's critical moments without the confidence that help can be reached. We exist to develop thoughtful technology that helps people access support when it matters most, creating greater confidence through responsible innovation and human-centred design.
Every day, people encounter situations where timely access to support can make a meaningful difference. Too often, however, access to help depends on a single pathway—a single call, a single message, or one person being available to respond. When those pathways fail, people can be left waiting at the very moment they need support most. Soularm was created with a different belief: support should never depend on a single point of failure. We believe technology should help strengthen the path between someone asking for help and the support that can respond.
Our vision extends beyond technology. We envision a future where access to personal safety is not determined by privilege, circumstance, or financial means, but is available to everyone who needs it. As Soularm continues to evolve, our commitment remains unchanged: to develop responsible, human-centred technology that helps people access support with greater confidence—because everyone deserves the confidence that help can be reached when it matters most.
The Challenge
When people reach out for help during a critical moment, they often depend on a small circle of trusted contacts. Those people are chosen because they care—not because they are always available. In reality, they may be driving, working, sleeping, travelling, or simply unable to respond at the moment they are needed most.
The challenge is rarely a lack of people willing to help. More often, it is the gap between someone asking for help and the right support being able to respond. When one pathway is unavailable, people are frequently left waiting, despite the possibility that others nearby or appropriate services could provide meaningful assistance.
We believe access to support should never end because one path was unavailable. Every critical moment deserves more than a single opportunity to reach help.
Our Vision
We envision a future where access to personal safety is not determined by privilege, circumstance, or financial means, but is available to everyone who needs it. A future where people can move through life with greater confidence, knowing that when life's critical moments arise, the path to support does not end with a single call, a single person, or a single opportunity. A future where asking for help begins a journey toward support, because no one should ever be left believing they have nowhere else to turn.
Our Principles
Every decision we make is guided by a set of enduring principles that shape how we think, how we build, and how we serve. While technology will continue to evolve, these principles remain constant.
Every decision begins with people, not technology. We design with the understanding that behind every request for help is a person, a family, and a moment that matters. Technology should support human needs, not complicate them.
Critical moments deserve more than a single opportunity to reach support. We believe thoughtful systems should be designed with resilience in mind, recognising that people, circumstances, and communication pathways are not always predictable.
Personal safety requires trust. We are committed to designing with privacy, security, and responsible data practices at the centre of every decision, recognising that confidence begins with protecting the people who place their trust in us.
Safer communities are built when people, organisations, and public services are better connected. We believe technology should strengthen existing support networks while creating opportunities for meaningful assistance when it is needed most.
Innovation should never exist for its own sake. Every capability we develop should serve a meaningful purpose, solve a genuine problem, and contribute to improving access to personal safety in a responsible and sustainable way.
The greatest value of preparedness is not certainty that nothing will go wrong, but the confidence of knowing that if something does, the journey toward support has already begun.

From the Founder
Soularm was never created because I wanted to build another technology company. It began with a simple question that stayed with me for years: what happens when the one person you trust cannot respond?
Too often, people believe that asking for help is enough. In reality, those closest to us may be driving, sleeping, working, travelling, or simply unable to answer at the moment they are needed most. It is not a failure of compassion; it is a reality of everyday life. I came to believe that access to support should never depend on a single opportunity to reach help.
That belief became the foundation of Soularm.
Our ambition is not to replace families, communities, emergency services, or the people we trust. It is to strengthen the connection between people and the support around them through thoughtful, responsible technology. We envision a future where access to personal safety is not determined by privilege, circumstance, or financial means, but is available to everyone who needs it.
As we continue this journey, every decision we make is guided by one principle that remains constant:
We believe no one should have to face life's critical moments without the confidence that help can be reached.

Current Stage
The initial concept, market research, and product vision have been developed and refined into a clear long-term strategy.
The user experience, product architecture, and design direction have been translated into a working product concept.
A functional prototype has been completed, demonstrating the product vision and core user experience.
Soularm is currently seeking the right strategic funding partners to support the next phase of development.
Following strategic funding, development will focus on building the production-ready beta platform for controlled testing and refinement.
Following successful beta validation, Soularm intends to begin carefully managed pilot deployments with selected communities and strategic partners.

Key Capabilities
Support can be reached quickly and confidently in the moments that matter, without unnecessary friction or delay.
Access to help is never dependent on a single point of failure. When one pathway is unavailable, others remain open.
Nearby, appropriate assistance can be mobilised, strengthening the support that already exists around a person.
Designed to complement and connect with established emergency services, rather than replace them.
Personal information is protected through responsible data practices, because confidence begins with trust.
Important information can be securely retained when it matters, supporting clarity and accountability after a critical moment.
The people who matter most stay informed and connected, without carrying the burden of being the only line of support.
Built to serve individuals, organisations, and communities alike — from a single user to institutional deployment.
Market Opportunity
Personal safety is becoming a defining priority of modern life. As populations concentrate in cities and people become more mobile, the need for dependable, always-available access to support continues to grow across every part of society.
Widespread smartphone adoption has placed capable technology in the hands of billions, creating the foundation for safety solutions that are accessible, affordable, and genuinely scalable. At the same time, expectations around the speed and reliability of emergency response continue to rise.
This need extends well beyond individuals. Employers are investing in the safety and wellbeing of their people, universities are prioritising the security of their students and staff, and public and private institutions are increasingly seeking partnerships that make communities safer. Together, these trends point to a substantial and durable opportunity for responsible, human-centred safety technology.
