There are stories we tell because we want to be remembered.
Then there are stories we tell because we can no longer carry them alone.
Letters of Us belongs to the second kind.
I never set out to become a writer. I simply reached a point where silence had become heavier than words. Writing became the place where experiences I could not explain, emotions I could not carry, and questions I could not answer finally found somewhere to exist.
Everything published through Letters of Us is original. Every letter, every reflection, every story, and every quote begins with lived experience. They are not written to persuade, to impress, or to create an online audience. They exist because they happened.
Many people assume they know someone simply because they have shared time together. I have learned the opposite. Sometimes strangers understand us more deeply than those who have known us the longest, because strangers arrive without assumptions. They read with curiosity rather than memory.
Letters of Us is my invitation to do the same.
I do not ask readers to agree with every word I write. I ask only that, for a moment, they place their own reflection aside long enough to see the world through mine. Because understanding rarely begins when we search for ourselves in another person's story. It begins when we are willing to step into a life that is not our own.
If, somewhere in these pages, you recognise a feeling you have never been able to describe, then perhaps these words have already done what they were written to do.
Not to provide answers.
Simply to remind someone that they are not the only person who has carried those questions.
